I compared the numbers. All P80s seem to have the same TPS.

I just installed the newer one and it seems to improve the throttle response. I guess I have reached a point where I am chasing a bunch of parts that aren't really bad per se, but not as good as 300.000 km ago. The typical high mileage issue, I'd say.

Also: it is possible to remove the tps without removing alot of parts. On the 94 I just unbolted the intake charge pipe. (My 94 still has the factory RIP setup).

Carefull on this....don't forget that there are 10 & 20v cars(n/a) 2.0 and 2.5 that have totally different managements and sensors(LH 3.2 Jetronic & Fenix Siemens).
Some of them have totally different o2 sensors(titanium vs. zirconium)...Map instead of Maf...etc.

You are lucky that all T5 have the same M4.3 management...up to s,v,c,xc70.
