OK. Got the part. However, I cannot find where it goes. The neckwhere the number 6 hose joins is smooth...there's no sensor. Is it perhaps inside the neck...do I have to take the number 6 hose off to get at it. It certainly is not on the outside where the diagram above shows.

It is not mounted on the hose, but on the port from the intercooler that the hose fits. Follow the hose back the the intercooler and you should see the sensor and its wires.

Nope not there or anywhere else I can find. I believe my model (2002 volvo v70 xc AWD wagon) doesn't have this part. I ordered the #4 in the diagram above. This has the name of MAP boost pressure sensor. Hopefully this solves the problem. I actually consulted a guy who knows Volvos pretty well and he said that was the correct part.

Take a peak at the throttle intake pipe.

That is the diagram for a AME 2002 V70 with a B5234T3. You sure you got the right car?

Maybe an early 2002 that still has the bastard pressure and temp sensor down on the induction hose before the ETM?

Even as far back as 2000 MY P2 turbos had the 2 sensors on that hose.

What is the build date on that car?
