I didn't know that. I'm not even sure where the vacuum pump is located on the turbo cars. Mine is NA and puts out plenty of power for me to get around with.

Imagine torque you have at 4000 RPMs. Multiply it by ~1.33 and stretch evenly between 1500 and 4500 RPMs. That's 2.5T.

Imagine all the parts that break semi-often in your car, and maintenance items that you need to take care of routinely. Multiply their quantity by 3, divide average life span by 2. That's 2.5T AWD

Preparing for the brake booster service. Am I to replace vacuum line 10, 18, 20 & 22? Would the hose from local O'Reilly suffice - what is ID?

I haven't replaced mine so I'm not sure. I think the ID is different that what you can get at a local parts store. I'd go with Volvo original parts to keep from having any sort of vacuum leak from the wrong size hose though.

I also need to do mine. In as little as 10 minutes after stopping the car, the brake pedal is as firm as a rock. My other older volvo doesn't do this, there's vacuum there even after a few days or a week.
