I know there was a discussion about side gap plugs here a while back, but could someone refresh me? Like, for Volvo Turbos? A hot rodder I know uses them in his turbo'd LS.

The Volvo Platinum plugs set 8692071 I just changed had 62k miles on them. Threw them in my 2007 XC70 4 years ago.

Only the middle plug appeared to be darker than the rest.

Just threw in new warrantied Volvo plugs I got from FCP Euro. When they receive those old plugs I'll get a full refund.

I also cleaned & rebuilt the fuel injectors for the second time. The O-rings and caps appeared fine after 62k miles so I used new caps, filters, and O-rings from the same kit again. Before rebuilding the injectors I let them sit in a container with Sea Foam overnight.

The O-ring around the fuel rail bracket is the same black O-ring that fits below the pintle caps so I changed that also.

She now accelerates faster and runs smoother!

When the Coppers busted up the spark plug party, they raised the Ire of the whole set, and the resulting injuries required lots of Pt.

I think I caught most of the elements of that story

I need to do this next.. All I have done to "clean" them is put some FI additive in the tank... :-)

Do we really want to start with the puns? The coppers ran off all the Plats, who said they will never be replaced..
