Thank you for posting your sad experience. This thread can serve some good purpose as information for all who choose to consider it.

How long did you own your S70? Having owned ours since new, it would not be easy to just move on. I can't blame you though after your experience, and I'm also the same age as you.

I had the car for about 8 years, nothing last forever.
Bought it from a lawyer who did not know it needed a timing belt replacement every so often and he sold it to me for $1,000 after he drove it till he broke the timing belt.
