The seal just happened to get forced out by the pressure without the piston there to retain it. You can pull the piston and check the seal(s) for any damage. They may be usable, as long as they're not cut/deformed in anyway.

That c-clip groove looks fine to me. It doesn't take much of a lip for the clip to hold in place, if it's fully seated. You can now also check to see how it fits, seeing as you have the slave cylinder on the bench.

Post a picture of the c-clip not installed, just to see if it's bent or deformed at all, because in the picture above, it looks bent and pretty useless.

Pics :
The c-clips in no more straight, and I'm surprised to see how much he has been opened...

The brand new c-clip I have had the idea to order "in case"... Well played Manov.

So, plenty of lessons today :

- work with the right tools. It was already the case for me but I realized how much it's easier with the right tool...
- before remove anything, to take as much pictures as needed to do not to figure out with "how to re assemble blabla...",
- keep all the packages and shipping stuff 'till the repair is over + 30 days, to be sure.
- take time to work.

I've just had a look to the slave cylinder, the seal seems to be okay. But I don't think to have enough fluid to fill up the all circuit.

You should invest in a set of the c-clip pliers. It looks like you probably damaged the c-clip trying to lever it on there without the proper tools.

You're right. This c-clip has been installed with a bad plier and I bought 2 new ones from Knippex :

At the end, the slave cylinder is in place and the clutch works fine. I've tested on a little distance because it's late, I will make a full test tomorrow.

I've also bleed the brake fluid and the brakes lines, putted out all air bubbles and now they are strong.

I do thank you all, you Guys, who have given a little bit of your time and all yours good advices to help me to solve this issue.

A last question: to work properly I have moved the battery plate, and I found this underneath. Can someone tell me what it is ?

I am glad you found the reason for your slave cylinder problem. Some times there are no substitutes for the proper tools.
