I would still change the Thermostat. (they only last about 10 years and your XC90 is ~12 years old)

Don't forget to take a picture of the broken Thermostat and post it here.

The VCX Nano will help.

The Anti Skid is a Haldex issue.

Just got the VCX so I’ll be on YouTube university and learning how to use it. Waiting on the thermostat to arrive.
I looked up Haldex and all I can find is related to 4WD yet mine is a FWD so I’m at a loss there- not to derail my own thread - I have a separate thread for that!
