just did a simple mod and WOW!

How to go faster, stop quicker, and turn harder. Chips, exhaust, larger turbos, bigger/slotted/drilled rotors, high performance brake pads, manual boost controllers, performance shocks/struts/springs, airbox mods and more! Also discussion on HID and Xenon lights, aftermarket foglights and other exterior lighting.

Anyway, looks great. I dont know if that auto will hold up to the power. It's the main reason i stuck with a 16t instead of 18t. That and spool time. The GLT also has weaker connecting rods.... so we'll see how that works out. :D

i dont have a glt....i said i was going to put glt cams in it,as a upgdae.....i have a t-5.
1995 850t turbo,siver with black leahter interior (perfect),, 118000 miles .second owner.9 out of a 10...!

lucky has the exact same set up as mine and said its a great combo and he is pushing 295-300hp..im also going with the blue tune like it says in my sig....lol

it will hold up,just put new trans synthitic fluid in and also getting a tranny cooler,so it will be just fine.

OHC motors don't have pushrods. ;)

tranny is good till 350 with a good cooler and frequent flushes 320 without cooler .. at least thats what ive heard of and ive done TONS of research on mods for my old 850 till a connecting rod bearing went .. now i have a 99 v70r

Sorry for the late response. It has nothing to do with the cams. The GLT has weak connecting rods. and they like to bend under lots of boost. I also dont feel like investing in an A/T cooler, so i kept the power low. Still fun as hell to drive. I'm thinking (really really hoping i'll be able to) of doing a manual swap. I gain ponies at the wheels, and can get a bit more power. I also haven't touched intake,(IC,tubing) so thats my limiting factor right now. Either sconeman's tube or an FMIC is in order. And i have done a fluid change on the A/T. I would recomend N/A cams instead, because while you're in there, you might as well go balls to the wall ;)
