You need a Vida Dice setup (you just need to install the Dice driver to Windows; nothing else) & contact Doublebug by PM. He has contributed to this thread so go back to find his post, then click on his avatar to post a PM.

Hello guys , i've drove my car 1,5 years with sacer sensor , but recently p1026 appeared , I've tested with new sacer sensor but it's not the problem . Other then the annoyng service message there is no problem with idle , the car runs very well. Ive also bought other old etm , with same number 8644345 but it goes into "limp mode". Can you give me advice what should I do.

As per my post above.

You'll need a working Dice unit connected to a Windows laptop and an internet connection.

The only other choice is dealer.

Hi all
Same problem here. Installed new Sacer sensor but problem persist. ETM with yellow sticker. No rought idle, cruise control still working, gas with brake doesn't work and enter limp mode yesterday.
Tried to contact with Doublebug to search some help, but it's not possible to contact him by avatar.
Anyone has Doublebug email or something ?

regards

Hello I am new to this site so I hope I am in the correct section. I picked up what I thought was a great 2000 v70 that
The previous owner told me the car was loosing power and his dealer said it needed a cat. He did not want to put money in it so I took it. Car was in limp mode. I have just changed the TPS. To a sacer. After reinstalation the car ran and idled perfect for a have hour. I shut the car off parked in garage.
Next day I went to drive it and it had returned to limp mode. I have rechecked volages and grounds and even added the jumper wire to the green wire on the efficiency side to make sure power was good.
I am hoping some one can give me guidance on next steps. Also wondering if anyone else had same situation.

Thank you for reading.

If Volvo dealer said cat is faulty then 99% that's the problem.

Have you read the car with Vida/Dice? Without this you'll be throwing a lot of money and time at parts.
