Got the axle out again! Now I can just find a whole Volvo axle and hopefully be done!

You're struggles have me wondering if I should do a preventative maintenace rebuild of my axles.

I would keep running them until they’re showing evidence of leaking. It would definitely be a good idea to have rebuild kits on hand, though! I would never buy an aftermarket axle again!
