Believe it or not, this is the first time the engine is out of this car.
I believe you can hone the bore of the caliper. You should be able to get it leveled out without increasing the size too much for the piston to seal.Cookeh wrote: ↑07 Nov 2020, 13:56 Thanks, certainly seems plausible. Pulled apart the knackered caliper today, both pots are completely clean and free of rust/lips. One side of the caliper was sticking due to there being corrosion and a bit of a lip on the caliper bore. I've not really heard of that being an issue, so now I'm unsure if that caliper can be refurbed.
