Was your W7 in a VM too, also what browser / level? All a bit academic I suppose, but might be useful for future reference.

W7 Pro VM/Vida 2015A tried it with IE and Google chrome. Just follow trixeo's step by step & download the mongoose driver from drewtech's website, I posted the link a couple of posts back, everything has worked flawlessly.

The Isoview upgrade works good for some people for other its better to stay with Isoview 4. You can always change back.

The upgrade files are here.

Just found this "ford" mongoose clone and I thought it would be the same as the volvo one but after looking at the ford pinout from drewtech's website, it probably wouldn't work. It would've been cool though, almost half the price of the JLR clone.

Just a quick follow up: My Mongoose JLR Pro clone V160 is working flawlessly and MUCH better than my DICE ever worked. I really should have returned the dice as soon as I got it but I chalked it up to possibly a bad CEM causing it to have comm. issues.

The main takeaway from this thread is to INSTALL THE CORRECT DRIVER and it will work beautifully with VIDA. I would suggest cn90 update the OP to really drive that point home.

Thanks, hopefully my Vida clone will do for now but good to know there's a backup if needed. Unfortunately, I'll have to pay tax & import fees in the UK which will put the price up a fair amount but still way cheaper than the prices of new clones.

UK does not charge Customs Duty on goods worth £135 or less unless it is excise goods, which this is not. Seller is suppose to to pay VAT on goods of £135 or less. You might end up paying VAT if the seller did not.
