Subframe clunk

A few weeks ago some one on this forum was talking about subframe clunk and was talking about sandwiching an O ring in between the body and the what I refer to as the K member. I don't have a micrometer so I'm not sure of the diameter of the proposed O ring but instead of scouring the Internet I was wondering if the oil filler cap gasket would work. .32¢ professional pro parts Sweden on rockauto and I know that rockauto is not one the recommended parts suppliers (so what) I'm having that issue and I'm going to try it as an experiment when it gets a little warmer outside, I'll let you all know what I can come up with.
