01 XC70: door locks not in synch

Post by Spoleto »

starting last wk, when i hit the remote to UNlock the doors, either:

(a) driver and back passenger doors unlock, or
(b) only back passenger doors unlock.

When (b) happens, then i have to use the key to unlock the driver door.

Similarly,
if the front passenger door lock/unlock is not in synch with other doors, the window won't come down when i press the button on driver side.

Could it be as simple as requiring a new battery for my remote control keylock?

Try locking and unlocking the driver's side door (should lock and unlock all) with the key twice. I've seen where this can get rid of quirky locking issues.

Thanks for that suggestion, however it didn't solve the problem. Turns out the front passenger door lock required a new actuator. Locks insynch, now :)
