windshield wiper problem-1994 960
Only one windshield wiper works. Do they have individula motors for each wiper?

No, it is one motor that drives both wiper arms. Most likely it is the nut loosened that holds the arm. At the end of the arm, that cover can be lifted out and underneath is a nut. This holds the arm to the drive stud. You can try tightening it and it may hold, but what has happened is thru continued use with it loose, the hole has ridges to increase the grip to the drive stud, those ridges have been worn away. If it does not hold, then you will have to get a new wiper arm. You might also check the working wiper for a loose nut.

As described the first thing you want to check is the swivel nuts.
But you can also try to determine if the wiper "tansmission" or control arms are loosened.
Take out the glove compartment and look inside up near the dash pad.
Turn on the wipers and see if the two arms are working (they are aluminium in colour). These things are held together with a little metal strap which connect them in tandem.

Thank you soooo much to all who help on this site. I used this thread to fix my driver's side wiper this morning and was able to safely take my mom to the hospital in the rain...
Having this community for support is wonderful and I just wanted to thank those who responded about the loose wiper nut as well as everyone who take their time to answer and help others.
