Does anybody know the spring rates for a 1986 850 T5 estate compared to an S40?(dont know what year), I've just replaced my front strut and was given one off an S40.
I was told by the breakers that it was the same but I've recently heard a chattering or rubbing noise on full lock and after checking the side with the new strut it seems to be about an inch lower than the other side!.
I still have the original spring and shock so if its just the spring thats different then I can change it, but I'd like to know for sure before I start pulling the car ap :? art again.
