Changing V70/850 from Fahrenheit to Celsius

Post by mr_chase »

Is there an easy way to change the thermometer in a V70's trip/MPG computer from F to C? I have a US-made V70 that's now in Canada, and I'm more used to Celsius than Fahrenheit...although I am getting better at converting 8)

Believe you push in the hour and minute buttons on your dash simultaneously and hold it and the choices will come up as 12H/F, 12H/C, 24H/F and 24H/C (12/24 hour as well as C or F designations).

Wow! I can't wait to know if I can apply this to my Volvo 1995 850 Turbo Wagon. I'm a Canadian in California, much more used to my good old Celcius and kilometers... that'd be awesome... and I could leave it as such when I sell it to a hardcore Californian too!!! :D
