AC blows warm after car warms up. 1995 Volvo 850 T-5R,105K

Just had the AC recharged thinking that was the problem. Still the same. Once the car warms up, the AC blows warm air. Was first told it was a controller under the dash, then told by the same AC mechanic a day later that it could be the switch near the firewall on the passenger side. Another mechanic then said I could bypass the switch with a shunt. Anyone have the real solution? Haven't tried the shunt yet!

Does the A/C blow nice and cold until the car warms up? When it is blowing warm is the compressor running? Is it warm on both the driver's side and the passenger's side? Do you get blinking A/C and REC lights when you first start the car?

If the compressor is not running while it is warm then chances are your A/C clutch gap is causing the problem. If the compressor is running then I would suspect the heat mix flaps / motors, particularly if it is only warm on one side and cool on the other and you do have the blinking lights.
