Hello, can you please tell me how to replace the gear automatic stick for a Volvo S40 2001 1.9?

Are you talking about the gear shift knob? If so, then just twist the leather portion and it will snap off of the gear shift, then pull like heck on the gear knob and it will come off...be careful, many have hit their head or the gear knob has hit them in the face then it finally comes loose. The new one will be in reverse order...you could use a rubber mallet if it doesn't seat all the way down like it's suppose to.
