2001 V70 odometer problem

Post by Bittertruth »

Recently my 2001 V70 odometer has stopped displaying. there is just the blank display under the speedometer and the cruise control has stopped working also. other than a brake light out messsage there are no outstanding messages indicating any other failure.
any ideas how to fix this?

thanks.

Sounds like a fuse.
Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.

Also -> Amazon link
. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!

I would suspect a bulb for the odo. Fix the brake light, & check the switch on the pedal for proper adjustment.

You can pull the cluster & swap the odo bulb with the clock to confirm, just make sure you disconnect the battery first, or you'll be paying the dealer to turn off the airbag warning light.
