Trunk opens by itself

My trunk opens by itself. Whenever I get in the car and put my foot on the break, I hear a whining sound from the rear and the trunk will likely open. If it doesn't open with my foot on the break, it opens after I take it off. Note, this happens on occassion too while I am driving. The rear headrests don't go down either.

It sounds like it might be a short in the rear wiring harness to me. Take a look at the wiring in the trunk area and see if you can find any chafed areas.
