An SKF bearing/hub assembly can be had for $140 plus tax from Napa.
Here is what I did:
wheel chokes on opposing wheels;
loosen wheel lugs;
jack up rear wheel;
remove rear wheel;
remove brake caliper by unscrewing 2 ea 13 mm head heads;
move caliper out of the way by letting it rest on frame piece behind wheel;
unscrew the ABS sensor bracket;
take off 10 mm bolt that holds rotor to hub;
remove rotor (a slight tap from where the caliper used to be may be necessary);
undo 4 ea 17 mm hex heads on back side of hub;
remove bearing/hub assembly (smack with hammer if necessary);
Note: this assembly sits in a pocket on the spindle.
Compare old and new hub assemblies and observe if the cap on the magnet side stays on hub or stays in pocket;
Reverse your steps.
Took my about 1.5 hours, because I missed the cap that had remained in the pocket. I say it is a 1 hr job.
