1999 V40 2.0 petrol right hand drive

Hi There

the above car developed a leak where passenger's side floor is saturated with coolant.... through research on volvo forums, i'm lead to believe it's what's called the heater core!?!?!?!?!!?..... I've seen more guides for cars other than and older than mine on how to remove.I've had a look under my dash(glovebox removed) and i'm not seeing anything obvious.Yet, there's a black plastic unit there, all wet around the edges....Does anyone know if a)there is a heater core in the V40 and if so is it where i'm looking, and is there a guide on here somewhere to remove a heater core from a 1999 V40???? many many thanks in advance.
