Has anyone had this problem? I have a 2004 S40 (the old version) I had a problem a couple of times with my gas pedal accelerating when I put on the brake. Yesterday, I hit the car in front of me in line for gas. When I hit the brake, the car accelerated.

Could it be that you accidentally hit the accellerator instead of the brake, or both?
