2003 XC90 Cigarette Lighter receptacle

2003 XC90 Cigarette Lighter receptacle

I need to replace the cigarette lighter receptacle in our 2003 XC90 (it's a pain not being able to plug in a cell phone). Does anyone have or know the procedures to remove the trim pieces around the radio and shifter? I don't want to start prying with a screwdriver. Thanks!

PS My wife brought the car into the dealer three times (for other reasons,mainly trim and console pieces popping off and breaking ) telling them that the cigarette lighter (receptacle) does not work. Each time they told her it was the fuse and then that it's a fault cell phone cord or whatever we're trying to charge. B.S. The fuse was fine each time and finally I just bought a new receptacle to replace it myself. We love our Volvo, but some of these dealers....

HELP! ANYONE! Does anyone know how to get the trim pieces off around the radio and shift to replace a cigarette lighter receptacle? The beast is a 2003 XC90. THANKS!!!
