2006 XC 90 P0026 & P0027 Codes

I have a 2006 XC90 2.5 l with the check engine light on. Codes are P0026 (Intake valve control solenoid circuit range) and P0027(Exhaust valve control solenoid circuit range). Is this something that I can buy and fix or is this something complicated and I need professional help. Someone please help me!

I would call it the intake and exhaust camshaft re-set valve. That is what the code is saying is not working properly. You can buy both of them and with minimal hand tools install yourself. Part numbers are 36002685 for the intake and 36002686 for the exhaust. You will also need gaskets, part number is 30731212 x2. Hopefully that will fix it.

so i haven't done anything yet and my check engine light has gone off. is this normal? or may be a different problem?
