hey i have a 2000 s80 so this might work for you. put your car in neutral the paneling around shifter should pop off fairly easy dont force it because like i said i have a 2000 model dont know if it is the same but if it pops off there are 2 screws that hold in your ac controls take them out and pull out ac controls then theres 2 more screws take them out and pull out cd player
