It has just come to my attention from 2 Brickboarders who had a P0014, that the tensioner was not properly adjusted. Before you play around with the cam position sensor, check the adjustment of the mechanical tensioner!!!
The first person to tell me this, fixed the tensioner and is quite happy.
The second person who had a mechanic replace the cam position sensor, took the car on a test drive. Car ran great, CEL was off. Then he gave it a lot of gas! The torque of the crankshaft caused the belt to buckle and it slipped. Valves banged into cylinders and the engine is toast!
