2001 S80 T6
My headlight high beams flash but won't stay on.
I think it needs a new relay.
Turn signals sometimes don't work unless I hold the stalk in the ON direction.
I have the Vadis CD but can not find a diagram of the relays on it.
The wiring diagram pdf links on this site do not work for me.
Can someone fix the links?
Where are the relay identification maps on the Vadis CD?
Why don't they put this information in the owner's handbook?

Answering part of my own question, I discovered the reason the wiring diagram pdf files on this site would not open for me. I was using Mozilla Firefox as my browser. When I tried the Internet Explorer browser, the file opened. Perhaps the website admin could put a note on the file page header explaining this?
So at least now I know where all the relays are and what they do.

Silver_S80_T6, welcome to Matthew's Volvo Site.
I shall pass on your comments to Matthew about the .pdf problem.
The VADIS disc doesn't have wiring diagrams on it but you should have received a second disc of wiring diagrams which includes relays.
Volvo don't put this information in the owner's manual as they don't want you to fix your own car. If we all did that the Volvo dealers would be on the breadline. That is why this Forum exists - starve the dealers.
As you are also having problems with the turn signals your switch may be the cause. Obviously the relay is cheaper to try first, especially if you buy from one of our sponsors whose links are at the top of the forum.
Bill.

Thanks, Bill and Matt.
No, I did not receive a second CD of wiring info. I did not know until your post that there was one. But I think I have everything I need now from the pdf on this site.
I've always fixed my own cars, but I'm used to paper manuals, and this CD takes a bit of learning and patience to navigate around it.

Just a follow up for those coming to this topic in the future: I checked, and indeed some of the PDFs do throw errors when you try to access them from Firefox. I found right-clicking and Saving was the workaround, so I put an image on that wiring diagrams page instructing users to do it that way.
Thanks for letting us know about the error, Silver S80.
