95-850 dash lights

does the transmission gear indicator have a light ??? ifso how do you get to it, also is there a light under the hood anywhere????

Tranny gear indicator does have a light. It's a pain in the butt to get to it if you've never taken the center console out though. Basically, there's a bunch of torx screws that have to be taken out and then you can lift up on the center console and get it to the point that you can replace the light. A couple of the torx's are under a cover inside the middle glovebox thing. A lot of people miss those ones. As for a light under the hood, these cars don't come w/ one. I guess Volvo figured that the type of people buying these cars wouldn't be working on them themselves. It would probably be super simple to wire in a simple light if you wanted to though.
