2004 XC70 Sunroof Rattle

The sunroof on my car rattles when driving on rough roads. It doesn't leak but the rattle is a little annoying. Anyone have this happen? Known fixes? Thanks!

The sunroof in my XC90 also rattles over bumpy roads! I would love to know if that is "normal" (which I suspect it is) or something I should worry about. Does anybody know? Thanks!

You mean the COVER is rattling, correct?

I had the same problem on my '03 v70 base.
I was able to tighten the torx screws. Raise sunroof to the vent position. then carefully pull back/slide the black accordian looking material. There are two torx bit screws there, mine were loose. Be careful it is extremely easy to over tighten and strip them. I had to do this on both sides.

I will check into that and see if those screws are loose.
