Most of us here would suggest making the mechanical parts of the car work "right" before spending money on anything to make it pretty. Most of this stuff is fairly simple, but bringing the car up to a good "Stage Zero" is what I always suggest to new Volvo owners, especially with a now 12-year-old car.

Find out what maintenance has been done on the car; and/or what may need to be done in the near future to keep it in top running shape. There is no point in having a car that looks good, but doesn't run well.

I just got a oil change, tire rotation, balancing etc.. I need to get a Air Filter for my Engine should I get a performance one and are these easy to instal ( I like to do things myself but will get help if needed) Also my cigarette lighter/charger input does not work could I need new fuses also or could it be something else?

The K&N filter drops right in; honestly, I did not see much of an improvement with my T5 as I did an old Honda with a similar drop-in filter. The cone kits require a bit of re-working, and honestly I don't see too much of a benefit there either. You can choose to go that route though if you wish. Check out www.ipdusa.com for performance parts for your car.

Check the fuse first; I had a penny stuck in my Buick's that kept blowing the fuse for that until I figured out it was stuck in there. If the fuse is OK, you might need to remove the center console & see if the wiring has been unplugged.

Zerian.. here is a link where you can make a "home-made" cold air intake. I did this myslef and it cost me less than 35 bucks total.
