I assume there is a question there but a bad MAF will cause the car to barely idle or run. You can test the theory by just unplugging it and see if the engine smooths out. You can actually drive it that way but the mileage and performance will be just awful. I would only drive it that way if I were limping home.

Normally we try to close the loop to close a topic out. As in posting back that you found the problem and it was (whatever the problem was).
