How much fluid for transmission for volvo S40 year 2000

I need to know how much transmission fluid to change fluid on my 2000 volvo S40 car and where to put it in at Thank You

if you drain through drain plug, the refill amount is about 3 1/2 quarts. If you let it drain overnight it may go over 4 quarts.
The fill is through the dipstick tube on front of transmission. THe dipstick may be hidden a bit by intercooler hose but it is there.

we use a b&g flush machine and flush all 16 qts it makes no sense to drain 4 qts and leave all that dirty fluid behind
