OBD ll diagnostic location

I was looking for the OBD plug-in location on our 2006 V-70R last week and didn't succeed. There are no messages but the car runs a little rough. My wife is halfway through an 800 mile XC trip and reports the cruise control kicked out/off 2-3 times. Also, giving very low MPG on the readout but when checking against real mpg (distance and gallons) it isn't close. 18 versus 26. Where do I plug in when she gets home tomorrow?

The port is above the handle to pop the hood. It is under a cover labled OBDII.
