Well I did it now. I took the DIM apart to look for bad solder joints or whatever might be causing the clock to freak out the turn indicator arrows to not work, and now nothing works in it at all - deader than a door nail except for check engine light and seat belt reminder when you first turn the key on.
Is there a probable cause for this total power loss?
I've already called the Xemodex people and arranged to ship to them - what I should have done in the first place.
