1998 V70 XC AWD turbo catalytic.
This is a Canadian car with California emissions (needs to Fit CA Emission)
I know the bottom line is to keep everything Volvo on any Volvo.
That being said, should I spend over $1,000.00 on a new catalytic converter?
I have tried to find a good used. In Northern Ontario, Canada this effort is futile.
Has anyone changed a Cat on this car with an after market? If so, can anyone offer suggestions as to what to look for, what to stay away from…. And most important to me, what make/models/price have you found to work out of all the aftermarkets stuff?
I have found a few bolt on aftermarkets online, but really have to question if they are as good as they say, since they are not even sure where or how many O2 sensor ports exist.
Any advice would be appreciated.
I just don't want to replace it and then start finding out that it is not what I want or need... more so... I don't want to be producing computer codes ....
Thanks
Some suggestions are
1- Catco 554-62-23
2- Benchmark Catalytic Converter part number: BEN93533
3- Magnaflow Catalytic Converter part number: M6646603
