Reprogram Old remotes to savage mirrior

Post by tuplip_73 »

Is there any way I can use my old remotes to my salvage rear view mirrior. My roommate trashed my original mirrior with the memory board. Now I have a savage mirror and one original remote and one from e-bay. Is it possible to get the combination to work so I can have keyless remote access? 2002 vs60 56,000 miles. If I need to go to a dealer, what line should I feed them.
Thanks.

No and it won't work in your car
The ORIGINAL MIRROR is part of the alarm system, your car may not start if you install it

remove the circuit board from the original mirror and put in in the salvage mirror. This is the only way to go, and the original remote will work.

A plain swap of mirrors won't work. eBay remotes won't work either.
