Speedometer, ABS, BRAKE lights not working

I just had the tires changed three days ago and had a new engine put in the car about two months ago. Today the speedometer just stopped working, all other gauges work, and the ABS and BRAKE lights came on. I checked all fuses as well as checked the fluid level for the brakes. I am planning on taking it back to the shop tomorrow but any info would be helpful. Thanks!

A friend who owns a 2000 s40 has the same problem.. Someone knows??

Some people have had success repairing the ABS Module themselves: viewtopic.php?p=46827

Other people have someone repair the ABS Module for them: viewtopic.php?p=17308

You should check out MattyMoo here on the forum. He rebuilds ABS Modules, but not for the v40. Maybe he could point you in the right direction.

Search the forum for "ABS Module" and you'll find what you're looking for. I've never had this problem myself, but have read a lot about it in the forums.
