OBD II code p2407& p0442

2006 XC90 I'm getting the two codes every few weeks replaced the gas cap (oem Volvo part) I usually get the p0442 code cntl sys small lk small , now I'm getting the p02407 detect pump sensor ckt intermittent . does anyone know of a problem area with the EVAP system ? hoses valves ect.

P0442= Evap check valve or vacuum hoses. Could also be the hoses attached to the Evap Canister (for 98 S70) under the rear-passenger side rectangle black box with two large hoses, one J-shape and the other just semi-straight. Also, my Evap check valve is located at the radiator shroud, drivers-side, underneath air induction tube...you should see a round or square part with an electrical connection, and at least two small vacuum hoses connected to it. I just replaced all the hoses and Evap Check Valve, and 3rd Gas cap, code went alway.
P2407: look at the repair database for this part.

replace the leak dection pump but you might want to have the dealer install the latest ecm software first some times the s/w will fix the prob they changed the amp thresholds to compinsate for the aging pumps pump is easy to repl r&r the spare tire and its right there
