CV Joint Replacement

I have just discovered a torn CV boot on the passenger side of my 2002 XC70. It looks like the boot kits are $100 and I found a whole cv axle for less than $150 from IPD (sponser of this site) manufactured by EMPI. Has anyone had any experience with this manufacturer? Thanks for all your help!

EMPI can be found for half of that if you call around to local parts stores...at least in VA. i have 50K on one with no problems yet...knock on wood. good luck.
