S40 T5 AWD or S40 2.5T AWD Topic is solved

Hey Gang,

I have been looking at replacing my 95 850 Turbo Sedan and now I am at a crossroads. I was planning on going to Sweden to get a 2006 S40, but it looks like work put the clamps down on that plan. Volvo is giving some awesome incentives to push 2005 model years off the lot. My dilemma is what to get. The S40 has 218 BHP and comes in a slick 6 speed. On the other hand, the S60 has more leg room and is a bit more comfortable. I really need the AWD because I live in Maine and most of the time when it snows I can't get my 850 out of the driveway. In a perfect world I would have enough money to get a S60 R, but not until after I finish paying off my school loans. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
