in-tank fuel pump access

Hi,

Many forum posts have told me that I can access the in-tank fuel pump for my 92 740T wagon from the trunk. But I have looked and cannot find it!

Please help. I am looking for a small plate with a few bolts on it which will allow me to access the gas tank from above...correct? Is this plate underneath the spare tire? In that same compartment? or in one of the side compartments? close to the back seat?

The forums make it sound so easy and that makes my inability to find it all the more frustrating.

Thanks in advance for your help. I've been pleasantly surprised with the size and enthusiasm of the online turbobrick community!

The estate/wagon fuel tank access is at the side of the luggage area as shown in the attached:
