1993 850 check engine light

How do I clear the check engine light from a '93 850? I tried this but it didn't do anything. I caused it to come on by pulling the wire from the MAF myself while the engine was running and now I can't get it to turn off.
1993 850glt

219,000+ miles and counting :)
