So my rear 02 sensor needs to be replaced. I searched to see if there is a link on how its best done and didn't find one.
There is a bolted joint in the exhaust right behind them and disconnecting there and removing the body cross braces might allow the pipes to drop if the flex up front moves enough. However my pipes are rusted and I assume this joint might not seal well again after doing so, that the the flex lines might crack/break with that much flex.
I'm hoping that with the car on a lift, its possible to remove the sensor using a bet 7/8" wrench, or a crows foot. Anyone had experience doing this with a home made wrench for the task?

So I did the job today, you definitely can get a crows foot on there and a wobble extension in past the pipe, but I only had a 3/8" drive crows foot and I was afraid I would break the extension, the leverage on the sensor is minimal. So I dropped the exhaust, simple to do, pulled the heat shields out of the way, and had the 02 sensor swapped in no time with a 22mm wrench. I cut the cable and used the box end so as not to strip it with the open end.
