water on floor 2008 s80 t6
2008volvos80t6, after heavy rains and during times when the air conditioner is used we find a great deal of water on the passenger floor. What is it's cause and how is it repaired? Thanks in advance [email protected]

From what you describe I would suspect the drain line from the heat exchanger compartment/box where the A/C is located is blocked or the line itself is plugged. This would prevent the moisture removed from the interior of the vehicle by the A/C system from exiting the passenger compartment to the underside of the car. Ensuring this line is clear would be the first thing I would attempt. Usually you can follow the A/C lines in the engine compartment to where they enter the passenger compartment through the firewall. Usually the drain tube will be located near this location (lower) and if possible check to see if the tube is clear. Do not use a sharp or hard object to clear the tube as it could possibly puncture or cause a leak of Freon.
Alternatively you may be able to have an A/C shop look at it and have them find a way of cleaning the drain tube.
This is what I think would be the problem based on the information you have supplied.
