1996 850 - anyone know what this plug is? (near console)

i was replacing my heater core and found this little guy hanging out from behind the center consle, and i cant for the life of me figure out where it goes.

i also discovered my recirc actuator isnt working (and the arm is broken), so i am crossing my fingers it is in some way related to that. but im not keeping my hopes up

I think that connector is not going anywhere.
That should be for something that the car isn't equipped with but is pre-wired for.

Looks like connector for a courtesty light of some sort. The connectors to the temp door motors are black IIRC.

looks like it may be a duct temp sensor connector?
