2000 S70 Transmission

Is $2,600.00 about right to replace the auto transmission of a 2000 S70? thanks
My 2000 SE70 (AT) is jerky and unsmooth between the 2-3 gear shift. After the car is warmed up the 2-3 shift is fine. All other gear shifts are excellant all the time. Any ideas? obie

Please get a second opinion on that shift issue. The 2-3 shift shudder/hard engagement is a common problem and could possibly be resolved a lot cheaper. $2600 does sound about right. Labor is usually around 12-15 hours for replacement and trans around $1800.

Did you have thedealer perform any software upgrades?
There is also a small $200 deal that can usually fix this if the software doesn't work.
Get back to me AFTER you try a software download
