1996 850 - considering painting interior door panels

Post by T64me »

I am doing a "mini-restoration" of a 1996 850 Turbo. So far, I have made very good progress. I replaced a door, painted the bumpers and deck lid and have made some other cosmetic enhancements. The car is really starting to look good! But then I look at the interior... All the door panels are faded badly.

When I was a kid, I restored a 72 Chevelle. As part of that process, I painted the dashpad of the car with paint specifically for the interior components of a car. I was thinking something like this might work to make the door panels look better:

Any input would be appreciated!
