2001 V70XC A/C pressure sensor location
My name is Eric. I'm new to the forum so I thought I'd introduce myself. Me and my son just bought a used V70XC for him to take to college in the upper peninsula of Michigan. Formalities aside...the A/C blows cold for a while then turns warmer. If you turn it off for a while then back on it blows cold again. The seller gave me a pressure sensor that he bought but couldn't find where it goes. I'm not sure this is the fix but since I have the part I'll try it. My question is where is the sensor located? I've looked online but can't find a clear answer for this model year. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanx...I'll give it a try tonight.
Hi there Eric if you still want to replace that sensor you will have to get your freon refilled and in your model year its located on the A/C drier which is located on the left side of the a/c condensor
good luck

I'm pretty sure there is a Valve under the sensor that keeps the Freon charge but the chance that the sensor will fix your AC is slim
